Fancying an afternoon away? A venture to take your mind of things? Do what I did, Go to Eyemouth! This small seaside town offers beautiul views, beautiful food and a friendly atmosphere to any who visit.

If you do happen to go to Eyemouth I would highly recommend paying a visit to the amazing bar & bistro Oblò, situated near the harbour Oblò has fantastic food and equally fantastic service, I would also recommend getting the 'Goujons of Eyemouth Haddock in a Crisp Batter'!

Carrying on with the 'seaside' theme, why not check out these Seaside signs, great for decoration in a bathroom or kitchen, brightening up any shelf or spare space:

Well, Hello everyone, Happy New Year and a BIG welcome to 'Charlotte's Cup-of-Tea-Time' blog! A place where I will fill you in on the lovely and special things that are happening in and around my work and life.

You know those lovely shops where you walk through the door and can't help feeling happy and relaxed, well that's where I work... A lovely and adorable shop and online business based in the beautiful part of Britain, Berwick-upon-Tweed, called Drift Living. Where you can find gifts for every occasion and budget – a wedding, a friendship or just a special treat for yourself.

'Life' for me fluctuates between Berwick-upon-Tweed and the lovely city of York, both historical and inspiring places to live and I'm lucky to be able to be a part of them, 'Life' also includes: baking, reading, rowing, Driftliving and LOTS OF DRINKING TEA, as I'm sure you'll notice along the way :)

Wings and Things

Summer is on it's way and what a treat it is to watch all the wildlife busying around. We're wondering if that's why a couple of our best sellers seem to have wings.....
This sweet Little Wren is one of them (we quickly sold out of them but have more stock in now). Our Butterfly Magnets have also been a huge hit, featuring in quite a few magazines.

Look out for new items in the Sale category in the next few days, we're having a clearout!

There are loads of online shopping directories but this one is quite different and one of the more interesting ones. It allows you, as much as is possible, to wander along it's streets and pop into the shops as you would in a real life town. There are lots of interesting looking side streets too and we think the selection of shops is really good.

If you get chance have a little look. Oh and don't forget to give us a vote too!

Luxury Matchboxes

Check out these fabulous matchboxes ( with matches) that we've just loaded onto the site. They are a generous 11cm square and we've got 6 designs to choose from. The pink " Keep Calm and Light a Candle" box is a best seller already but I think the one in the picture is my favourite.

It brings a smile to my face.

New Greengate on it's way!

Here are some gorgeous stoneware spoons - a little taster from the Greengate range. Athough the spoons in the picture aren't brand new designs, we keep adding them to our orders as they are just gorgeous and sell out quickly. There will, of course, be some new ones to choose from too. A homemade pot of jam along with one of these spoons is just about as lovely a gift as we can think of.
